Flexibility... These are the hallmarks of the new Rice Lake 920i
Programmable Indicator/Controller. With the 920i, you can adapt the
controller to the process, rather than adapting the process to the
controller. The 920i can be configured and programmed to perform the exact
operation you require, whether that process be batching, data gathering,
checkweighing, truck scale control or any other application requirement
you may have.
In addition, the 920i is designed to communicate with the outside
world, including interfaces for Ethernet, Remote I/O, DeviceNet, Profibus
DP and serial communications. The 920i is fast and can control external
devices in the same way that a Programmable Logic Controller (PLC) does, but with a much more useable operator
interface. And it can be field programmed to react to changes that may
occur to your process in the future.
