he following photo sequence shows the unloading and installation of a Weigh-Tronix SteelBridge Model IMXT7010-100T Fully Electronic Steel Deck Truck Scale. After the foundation has been constructed and allowed to cure, the entire process of unloading and installing the three scale sections in place takes less than one hour. Total completion of the installation, including hook-up of the weighbars, installation of the weight display and complete calibration of the truck scale can be finished in one day.

Old mechanical truck scale to be replaced with the new Weigh-Tronix IMXT 70' x 10' Fully Electronic Steel Deck Truck Scale.
The simple, pier type concrete foundation is formed and poured parallel to the old scale location.

The truck arrives with the new scale and the first section is unloaded. The scale section is completely self-contained, with all weighing components in place.
The first scale section is set in place on top of the weigh bar stands. The section is easily maneuvered and set down with the crane.

The first section is aligned onto the weigh bar stands and the connecting links are put into place.
The second scale section is unloaded and maneuvered into position.

The second section drops into position and connects with the first section.
The third and final section is installed and connected into place.

Final adjustments are made to the third section to align it with the other two sections.
The complete scale is now in position and is ready to be anchored into place and calibrated.

The Truck Scale Calibration Test Unit is pulled into position at the end of the scale.
The 25,000 lb. certified weight cart is unloaded from the truck and the test weights are loaded into the cart.

The motor driven test cart is positioned over each section of the scale and the scale is calibrated to the test weights

To complete the test, the fully loaded test unit is positioned on the scale and the weight is checked. The installation and calibration of the scale is now complete and the scale is ready to use.
